I started planning a wedding that would be a small, intimate gathering of close family and friends. A cap of 130 seemed appropriate and even a bit high...well to my dismay, the families alone exceed that minimum. I do believe we are approaching a complete (everyone that should be invited) guest list and the total is just over 200 - YIKES!
All my reading advises that there is generally a 20% decline rate - oh do I hope and pray that is true. That will put us around 160...still well over my initial intent but doable.
This is, by far, the most stressful part of the wedding planning. The obligatory invites and the cuts...
